One of my top 5 favorite words since about 4th grade has been "obliterate". The dictionary says that this means "to remove from existence : destroy utterly all trace, indication, or significance of". However, the physical law of conservation of mass states that in a closed system mass cannot be created or destroyed, only rearranged. I love the paradox created by this word.
