My contributions/edits to Wikipedia have been literary and non-controversial. They have been limited to adding detail to the Young Adult Fiction that I have read and series that I have enjoyed - that's it. Nothing political, nothing outside of that genre. Just a few minutes ago when I was going to update some content, I found that my editing privileges had been blocked until the end of 2024.
So that naturally makes me wonder - do different platforms share 'problematic user' lists with each other? I have been banned here, on TikTok, and on Twitter, but given the biases that we all know exist and what I post on those platforms - that is to be expected.
But do they share?

From the "Black Lives Matter" statement of beliefs:

"We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable."

If I look around the world, and yes, even to indigenous African cultures, the two-parent heterosexual family structure prevails. Why call it Western prescribed unless you're using it as a hammer to dismantle American culture specifically?

Where in the world has this social model been effective? Where is the empirical evidence, not the magical Marxist philosophizing?

I notice that fathers are specifically omitted from the family structure. How has that single-parent model worked for the Black community for the last 50 years?

Economics. Basically.

Socialists believe that economics is a zero sum game; that for one person to win, others have to lose. This thinking is completely flawed. If I stop by a kids' lemonade stand and buy a cup of lemonade, they've made $1.00 and I get the lemonade. Where's the loser in this transaction? If they do this enough times they may accrue enough money to open a second stand on a different corner. Halfway through the summer, they may have five stands running and employ a dozen of their friends. The neighbors get lemonade, the kids make money, everybody wins.

Blue Suburb America

When a woke member of the cancel culture encounters two kids with a corner lemonade stand....

The leftist activist asks the kids how long they work at their stand. "A few hours a day," the kids reply.

Activist, "Uh-huh, and do you have any LGBTQ friends or kids of different races or nationalities working at your lemonade stands?"

Kids, "What does that mean?"

The activist now takes out their phone to video the conversation, "And what is the ratio of female to male employees and do you pay all of your staff the mandatory state and federal minimum wage?"

Kids, "We sell lemonade, that's all. And sometimes brownies and cookies if it's not too hot."

Activist, "Do you offer products that are cruelty free, gluten free, vegan, Halal, and fair trade?"

The kids look at each other confused.

Outraged, the activist posts the video of the lemonade stand on social media calling it a "Hate Stand" which attracts an angry mob that scares the kids away.

With the kids gone, the mob burns the stand down, hangs an effigy of Trump in its place, and claims a great moral victory for 'the people".

The left can’t win in the marketplace of ideas, so they shut down the marketplace.
